Each of the staff members at Henry-Olson Funeral Home and Crematory is committed to providing your family with the finest in personal care. In fact, for years, it’s been comforting for area families to know that we are available to help at any time of the day or night.

Kirk Olson, Owner/Funeral Director Email: henryolsonfuneral@gmail.com Office Phone: 712-362-2646 Kirk was raised in Estherville and a 1992 graduate of Estherville High School. He attended Iowa Lakes Community College, the University of Northern Iowa and graduated from Worsham Mortuary College in 1998. Kirk is a second generation funeral director working in the funeral home. Kirk and his wife, Tracy (Farber) have twin sons, Chase and Colby and one daughter, Hayley.

He graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College in 1975 and also the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1996. Craig enjoys spending time with his dogs: Milo and Slick

Jessica Carlson, Funeral Director Email: henryolsonfuneral@gmail.com Office Phone: 7123622646 Jessica Bonner-Carlson is a native of Estherville, graduating from ELC in 2003 and Iowa Lakes Community College in 2005. She then attended the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities Campus to obtain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Mortuary Science graduating in 2007. Jessica then completed her internship at Halverson – Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd, Minnesota, before returning back to Estherville. Jessica and her son, Jackson reside in Estherville.

She graduated from North Sentral Kossuth High School in 2010 and Des Moines Area Community College with a degree in Mortuary Science in 2014. MaKenna and her dog Ella reside in Estherville.

Cathy Beaver, Prearrangement Counselor Cathy was born and raised in Estherville. She graduated from Lincoln Central High School. Cathy and her husband, Ron make their home in rural Estherville. They have two children, Ann and Jared and two grandchildren, Blake and Brady. Cathy joined our staff in November 2011 as family service counselor. Cathy helps people with funeral pre-planning arrangements.
